Avtomontaža bouwde een cabriobusje voor Tito.

In het artikel over Tehniški muzej Slovenije vroeg ik nog wat dit was, een paar dagen daarna werd ik ineens in een chatgroep vol busliefhebbers uit voormalig Joegoslavië gegooid. Natuurlijk moest ik vragen wat dit ding toch is. Kresimir wist het: “I think it is based on Volkswagen Transporter T1, Yugoslav President Josip Broz was driving this occasionaly,body by Avtomontaža, Ljubljana. Avtomontaža also bodied special buses for Josip Broz Tito, mostly on FAP chassis, it is unknown how many series of those buses were made throught the years.”
