Bij de afgelopen truck GP op de Nürburgring heb ik deze Scania 143 Streamline gefotografeerd, die duidelijk ooit van Van Toorn uit Eck en Wiel was. Naar aanleiding van die foto’s kwam ik in contact met de huidige eigenaar, Ralf Seelkopf. Onderstaand verhaal en foto’s komen van hem.
We had a lot of work with the truck, but now we have a lot of fun.
We got the truck in 2009 from Holland ( Hogblogland ). The Truck was in bad condition ( 1.350.000 km ) and it was very difficult, to get a german license for the truck. We will not try it once more. The truck was restaurated by my sun ( lying under the truck on picture ). He was 17 years old, when we got the truck in 2009. He has golden hands and he worked every day after school at the truck.
Since two years my sun is building at a short trailer for the truck. We hope, that we can come to the ” Nürburgring ” next year with our short orange trailor.
